How To Confuse a pro-lifer with one question

Honestly, I can generally walk away from most arguments with the christian doctrine because I know from experience that there’s no changing their mind and it’s a waste of time, but pro-lifers make me sick and this is an argument that really gets them to stop and think about the repercussions of what they’re trying to do. They make women who are having possibly one of the worst experiences in their lives feel even worse about a choice that every woman has the right to make about their own bodies. They don’t think it through. They have a one track mind that any life, even one that isn’t even close to being fully formed, should live, and when the issue however delicate is full of so much grey area that’s unacceptable logic. They never stop to think about what making something illegal actually means. It doesn’t mean abortions will magically stop completely, it means that women who are extremely desperate will spring for unhealthy methods of abortion, and if it is illegal will be punished after enduring a terrifying and horrible situation that in many cases results in irreversible injury or death. How on earth is that fair treatment of a human being? They can complain about what they believe, that’s fine, but they don’t understand that that opinion stops at the government level and that they have no right to impose their views on every woman. Don’t agree with abortion? Don’t get one. Even these people can recognize that punishing a woman with jail time or an equal premeditated murder sentence like the death penalty isn’t right. Tell people you don’t agree, that’s fine whine all you want, but try and legislate your opinion? I’d like to bury my fist in your face. Seriously.
